Early Childhood Family Home Visitor

Compensation (Pay/Benefits) Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $49,870 - $55,411 a year for full time, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Program Summary:

The Parent Child Home visiting program provides long term, relationship-based home visiting services to families that are pregnant or parenting young children and living in Minneapolis. Healthy development depends on the quality of the relationship children have with their caregivers. Our Parent-Child Services use a two-generation approach to support parents and caregivers to foster that important relationship.

Position Overview:

The home visitor will walk alongside families to provide emotional support, developmental guidance and connection to resources in their community. The home visitor creates opportunities for positive parent-child interaction and supports the caregiver in identifying their strengths and challenges.

Job Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, child development or a related field.

Experience

*Ability to build and maintain relationships, self-awareness, curiosity and sound judgement

*Understanding of pregnancy/early parenting, infant and young child development, working across cultures, conflict resolution and family centered work.

*Home visiting experience preferred+

*Bi-lingual preferred
