Compensation 

Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $65,199 - $72,443 a year for full time, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. Schedule:

· Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

· Schedule will be both flexible and coordinated in conjunction with organizational needs.

Location:

Hybrid officing out of the Nicollet Mall location.

Program Summary:

The Billing & Payer Relations Supervisor of the Billing Office is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the billing & payer relations team that acts as the liaison between payers, funding sources, clients, and internal clinical and program staff at St. David's Center to ensure that payers eligibility/benefits, authorizations, and billing is performed in compliance with health plans, regulatory agencies, and state and federal requirements.

The Billing & Payer Relations Supervisor is responsible for the hiring, training and daily supervision of the billing & payer relations team members. The Billing & Payer Relations Supervisor will provide leadership to this team by establishing trainings, policies, procedures, and high standards of customer service & communication with external (clients, families, payers) and internal customers (other business office team members, program staff, Health Information Management Department & other staff). The Billing & Payer Relations Supervisor will also ensure that staff collaborate effectively with one another and with other staff at St. David's Center.

Position Overview:

· Oversee the Billing & Payer Relations operations and supervision components consistent with ethical best practices and St. David's Center mission, vision and values which results in timely and reliable verification of benefits and receipt of authorizations.

· Provide management and supervision to Billing & Payer Relations staff, ensuring compliance, effective partnership, communication and timely implementation of all responsibilities.

· Partner with St. David's Center staff and program/department leaders to ensure all data is accurate and processed in a timely fashion according to system standards. Partner with program leaders to assure alignment with St. David's Center values and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

Education

· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, specialized medical billing curriculum or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience

· Minimum of 5 years of billing experience in a healthcare/hospital/clinic setting.

· Experience with medical, behavioral health, and community-based disability service billing preferred.

· Previous experience in EHR billing systems preferred.
