Position Title:
School Based Mental Health Therapist (Elementary)
Compensation (Pay/Benefits) Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $59,760 - $76,065 a year for full time or $28.73-$35.00/hr for part time, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour work week, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. Schedule:
· Hiring for one full time (30-40 hours) and one part time (16-24 hours) position.
· Preferred start date on or before August 18, 2025.
· Days: Monday through Fridays.
· Time: dependent on school start and end times (example: 9:35am-4:05pm)

Program Summary:
St. David's Center's School Based Mental Health Program provides comprehensive mental health services to preschool and/or elementary aged children and their families, collaborating with school staff and/or other providers to achieve strong outcomes. Most of our therapists are embedded in one school, which makes it possible to cultivate meaningful relationships with children, families and school staff.
Position Overview:
This clinical role is dynamic and responsive to the needs of children in each setting and includes assessment, direct intervention (psychotherapy, psychoeducation, skills training), teacher consultation, care coordination, and/or mental health instruction to staff in classroom and/or individually to staff or families. The position requires a high level of abstract thinking, independence, and flexibility to put into practice the overall program structure and vision.

Job Qualifications:
Education
· A master's degree in a mental health field, from accredited college/university
· Is licensed as an LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT
· Or on a clinical track to receive their LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, and/or LP licensure
Experience
· A minimum of one-year post-Master's preferred, with clinical experience working with children who struggle emotionally and behaviorally.
· Knowledge and experience working in family systems, child development, developmental psychopathology, attachment theory, child abuse, neglect and trauma.
