Position Title:

Accountant III

Program Summary:

The Accountant III is responsible to oversee and coordinate the daily accounting operations of the accounting department. They are responsible to partner with team members to ensure that all financial and accounting operations within an accounting department run smoothly. Their duties include journaling, examining, and analyzing a company's accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. They are additionally responsible for reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts. Overall, this position with the accounting office team members is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements that meet annual audit standards and timelines.

Schedule:

Full time - Mon - Fri 40 hours/weekly (Hybrid Schedule - In office Tues and Fri)

Compensation:

Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $68,243 - $90,270, annually, for 40 hours, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Job Qualifications:

Education:

1. Business degree or similar qualified experience.

Experience:

1. Prefer minimum of five years in a business office or accounting environment to include Financial Reporting, A/P, A/R, billing and payroll, non-profit experience preferred.

Knowledge:

1. Significant experience with all aspects of Microsoft's general ledger accounting software, including expertise with reporting tools, is required.

2. Strong understanding of US GAAP and non-profit accounting.

3. Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite of office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Advanced Excel skills is a must.

4. Experience using payroll software preferred, but not required.

5. Experience with the general ledger interface and reporting related to electronic medical record software preferred, but not required.

Skills:

1. As Accountant, you will be expected to be highly detailed with solid account analysis and reconciliation skills.

2. The ability to prioritize tasks in a changing environment.

3. The ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and staff is a must in this position.

4. Ability to apply critical thinking and apply judgement to investigate the data and financials and test for accuracy.
