Security Receptionist (Morning)

Program Summary:

The Security Receptionist is responsible for welcoming, assisting, and monitoring visitors, vendors, and staff as they enter and exit the St. David's Center Nicollet Mall location. They are responsible for maintaining the security of the building as the first point of contact at the site, and supporting emergency situations that arise in the building as part of the Crisis Management Team. They support reception, medical records, and intake processes. They provide operations support to programs within the building. They oversee the distribution of keys/fobs to staff and families, monitor the camera surveillance system for the building, and oversee the process of deliveries and mail to staff in the building.

Position Overview:

  • Welcome, monitor, and direct guests entering and exiting the Nicollet Mall location, providing a warm presence as the first point of contact, while maintaining building security by verifying identity and acting as an active member of the Crisis Management Team and supporting CMT procedures.
  • Serve as primary reception for the Nicollet Mall site, answering phones and routing calls, and supporting medical records and intake processes in partnership with the Clinic Operations Team.
  • Provide operational support to programs in the building related to equipment, procurement, safety, and administrative procedures and needs.
  • Monitor security cameras, oversee the operational flow of keys and fobs to staff and families, and organize and route mail and package deliveries.

Schedule:

  • Schedule will be both flexible and coordinated in conjunction with organizational needs.
  • 25 hours. 1:15 PM-6:15 PM

Pay:

23.98-26.64 hourly

Job Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Administrative Professional Certificate (APC), or other related coursework preferred

Experience:

  • 3 plus years of experience in security and/or building safety
