Director of Development
Compensation (Pay/Benefits) Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for this position starts at $86,200 - $107,700 a year for full time, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. Schedule:
· Full time, average working hours 8:30-5:30
· In-office (Nicollet Center), 2-3 days a week including Mondays, Wednesdays

Position Overview:
St. David's Director of Development is responsible for the management and execution of our annual giving program, strategic fundraising planning in partnership with the Director of Marketing & Community Relations (DMCR) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), collaboration with other fundraising initiatives within the development team, donor communication planning and execution, and leadership of fundraising systems.
Major functions include:
· generating new and increased giving for prospective and active donors;
· overseeing the development budget and annual work plan development,
· further developing and streamlining fundraising systems;
· building greater awareness of and enthusiasm about the mission and services of St. David's within the community;
· supervising direct reports with accountability to fundraising results.

Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
· Fundraising strategy and implementation including direct appeals, individual gifts fundraising, corporate partnerships and events.
· Understanding of philanthropic trends locally and nationally.
Experience
· At least 5-7 years of fundraising experience, with a proven track record of success interpersonally engaging prospective donors in making charitable commitments.
· At least five years of leadership/management experience overseeing a team responsible for revenue generation.
